One of the most beautiful neighborhoods I’ve ever sold in ended up costing the owners close to $100K because of the HOA.

When you're buying a home,
you think about price,

Pros of an HOA?

✅ Amenities like pools & gyms
✅ Maintained streets & snow removal

Cons?
💸 Monthly fees
💸 Strict rules
💸 And in some cases a massive repair assessments due to poor management

Over 80% of new builds now have an HOA.

In the Truckee area it is rare to find a new build not located in an HOA.

With existing homes there are some older communities without HOAs.
