• Northstar is a homeowners association as well as a ski resort community. The Northstar ski resort, known as Northstar California is owned by Vail Resorts.
• The Northstar Property Owners Association (NPOA) is located in the heart of the Northstar California® Resort. NPOA is the original master association at Northstar and consists of 1,480 members: 808 Single Family residential homes and five Condo Associations that includes 672 units. NPOA is a year round resort community that is minutes from historic downtown Truckee, the North Shore of Lake Tahoe and a short drive to Reno, Nevada.
• The NPOA Recreation Center provides members and their guests with access to pools (Lap Pool open year round), hot tubs, dry saunas, fitness facility, game room, tennis courts (summer only), bocce ball & basketball, nature trail, kids playground, and summer activities.
• Also housed on the Northstar property is the Ritz Carlton, Mountainside by Northstar and Big Springs. In addition, The Village at Northstar has been developed by Tahoe Mountain Resorts
